Detailed Planning Application

Proposal

Story Homes has now submitted a full planning application for 140 high quality new homes on land at Chapel Lane in the village of Longton.

The proposed scheme includes a range of one to six-bedroom family homes and will make an important contribution towards local housing delivery, including the provision of 30% new affordable homes for eligible local people.

Community Benefits

Our proposals will include 30% affordable housing that will be allocated for people with a local connection to the area.
Our proposals will deliver significant community benefits, including over £1.7 million in Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) contributions to support local services and infrastructure improvements.
Our proposals will support existing local businesses and help create additional employment through new opportunities for local sub-contractors and the supply chain, as well as an increased demand for local services when the new homes are occupied.
