The town itself has cobbled streets and is nestled amongst magnificent fells, offering unique shopping, eating and drinking opportunities at every turn. From high street favourites, such as Marks and Spencer and Next, to independent boutiques and jewellers, shopping in Kendal is a special experience. Excellent transport links can be easily accessed, with the M6 close (but not too close) to our development in Kendal, connecting you to the north and south of the country. Oxenholme Lake District rail station provides links to other major cities including London, Manchester and Glasgow and Newcastle International Airport is less than two hours by car, for those wanting to travel further afield.
There are a wide range of primary and secondary schools rated “good” by Ofsted including Old Sutton C of E Primary School and Queen Elizabeth School, making Kendal the perfect place to raise a family.
