Our range of beautiful show homes are designed to showcase the space and specification of our homes as well as giving you an insight into how you could live in a Story home.
We often get asked how we choose the pieces for our show homes and how the vision comes to life, so let’s take a peek behind the curtain with Show Business Interiors who manage the styling of our show homes, find out what it’s like to design the interiors and pick up some styling tips too.
This time we’re shining a spotlight on The Pennington show home at Greystoke Fields, an impressive 5-bedroom family home where the interior design really accentuates the amazing space it has to offer.
Bringing the space to life
We work with our interior designers to select the perfect scheme for the show home, ensuring there is a sense of flow throughout the home whilst making sure each room has its own personality. Show Business Interiors even create bedrooms around the characters they could envisage living in that specific home to really bring out the authenticity.
We love looking back at the transformation and seeing how the mood boards really come to life. Here are some ‘before’ and ‘after’ images of our favourite spaces in this home.
The Kitchen, Dining and Family area:
The spacious open plan kitchen, dining and family area comes complete with a stylish kitchen island and bi-fold doors that open out onto the patio flooding the room with light. It’s the perfect entertaining space and keeps everyone connected.

After The Lounge:
The bright and airy lounge is a great place to host and relax. We love how Show Business Interiors have used a neutral colour palette, picking out metallic tones and different textures to create various layers in the room.

The large main bedroom, paired with its very own dressing area and modern en-suite, emulates luxury which is emphasised by the statement headboard, dark furniture and feature lighting.
