Proposal

Story Homes is working with North Tyneside Council on its plans to build circa 310 homes on land at Rake House Farm, Rake Lane. The proposed scheme will offer a range of two to five bedroom family homes, which will include affordable housing. This scheme will deliver a number of benefits including the construction of multiple cycling and pedestrian routes, linking the development to the surrounding area, as well as contributing towards improvements to the local highways network. A comprehensive landscape strategy has also been agreed which includes a wildlife corridor within the southern section of the development and enhanced planting to the eastern boundary of the development site.
